What did I do on my trip to Maui and Kuaui Hawaii? We got to see so much and even check off a few things from my life list aka bucket list.

In open water between Maui & Lanai: Saw a US Navy submarine. It was surfaced and crusing. It was magic to see it in the regal blue water.

At 130' below sealevel I gazed into a crevase to see 5-6 sharks. The White tip reef sharks were sleeping inside a cave like ledge. As my brother moved back to let me see his fin kicked current into the area. 2 woke right up. 1 went right around me. He was 4' +. The next on came out and spent about 3m moving around where I was. They were swimming around 5' to 20' from me. This one looked into my eye from about 5' several times. Then the big one woke up. He was around 6' (my hieght) He danced with me for over 5min. He went around me cruised by me even under me. He was really close for most of the time. worried me a couple times. Sharks fins can harm you if they hit you with them. We had direct eye contact numerous times it was AMAZING. [link]

I entered the house of the sun to see one of the most amazing sunsets ever. Sunrise at Haleakala Crater starts @ 10,000' above sea level. You are over the clouds, its like being in heaven. The sun rises from below the clouds. Its amazing, then the light casts into the volcano crator to revel green and red landscape colours. Its vivid and awe inspiring. [link]

Saw on the magnificent red dirt hills in the mountians of Kuaui.

Took a walkabout in the trails around the road to Hana. Saw waterfalls, magificent trees, flowers, waterscapes, the black sand beaches and the stunning Rainbow Eucalyptus trees (see link, life didnt provide me the opportunity to shoot my primary goal on the road to hana :tear: )[link]

I had the distinct honor of standing over the magnificent Napili coast. The stunning gray fog was amazing to see but it left the coastline invisible to my eyes.

True joy watching my son play in the surf, frolic in the pool waterfall, giggle in the sand, roll down a soft grassy hill and smile at the magic of Maui.
